die sieben sakramente sind sieben gemälde von nicolas poussin , illustration der sieben sakramente der römisch-katholischen kirche . Poussin schuf zwei sätze von sieben sakramenten , das erste if, das von cassiano del pozzo in auftrag gegeben wurde , ein italienischer gelehrter und kunstsammler , und das set wurde später an die herzöge von rutland in der verkauft 18th jahrhundert . Alle sieben gemälde bleiben bis auf “ Buße , ” die bei einem brand auf der rutland belvoir castle in zerstört wurde 1816 . “ Baptism” wurde an die national gallery of art in washington verkauft , GLEICHSTROM im 1939 . die restlichen fünf gemälde befinden sich zusammen in der national gallery in london .
